CJ Formation Conference in Rome 2018

During the last three days of the conference, there was time to study, to deepen the input of Mary Pat Garvin, and to have a close look at the Formation Framework, which gives an overview of the goals of each stage of formation.  There was time for personal reflection, group work and sharing in the plenary.
On the last day, Jane Livesey CJ gave an input on ‘Everyday Holiness according to Mary Ward and Pope Francis’ exhortation “Gaudete et Exsultate”. She drew parallels between the Just Soul vision of Mary Ward and Pope Francis’ approach to everyday holiness. As always, we ended our conference with the celebration of the Eucharist. Father Claudio Paul from the Jesuit Curia in Rome was the celebrant.
On Friday evening, we had a joyful farewell party in which some of the speakers appeared again in a very entertaining review. Everybody enjoyed dancing. The conference members thanked the Generalate team very warmly.
