Jane Livesey CJ
Born 1955 in Bolton in the north of England
Entered the Congregation of Jesus in 1974 because I felt that God was asking me to give myself completely to Him and I knew the Congregatio Jesu in England and no other religious order – only later did I discover Mary Ward and our spirituality and thus was confirmed that I was in the right place.
In Rome since January 2012, although elected in Loyola in Spain in October 2011 General Superior!
Elena Gatica CJ
Born 1959 in Chillán, Chile
I entered the Congregatio of Jesus in 1982. The person of Jesus and his project captivated me. Being contemplative in action-mission motivated me to join the sisters of the CJ.
Since 2012 I have been one of the assistants in the Generalate in Rome.
Part of my current mission is to accompany the three Latin American provinces, the mission in Cuba and the provinces of Spain, Italy and Romania.
Elisabeth Kampe CJ
Born 1949 in Fritzlar, Germany
I entered the Congregatio in 1970, after getting to know the sisters in Bad Homburg. I was inspired by their enthusiasm for Jesus and their love of people. I felt called by Jesus to go on the same way as they did.
Since 2012 I have been one of the Assistants on the Generalate in Rome. My main task is to be a bridge between the Generalate and the MEP, the Slovak and Hungarian Provinces and Jerusalem. And it is a joy to me to be committed to working for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation.
Prisca Vadakepoondikulam CJ
Born in Kerala, India in 1952
I was received into the Congregation in 1969. I wanted to follow Jesus by serving the poor of North India.
I am one of the General Assistants with particular responsibility for the provinces: Patna, Allahabad, Delhi and the regions: Bangalore and Nepal. My area of specialization is counselling and therapy.
I enjoy writing.
Cecilia Jaeyoung Yeom, CJ
Born 1963 in Daejeon, Korea
I entered the Congregatio Jesu in 1991. Encounter with the loving and omnipotent God led to a strong desire to serve Him within me. The religious seemed to know how to serve God much better than I did. For the last twenty years I have lived what I have learnt from my companions in the CJ.
I have been here in Rome since January 2012. I am a General Assistant taking care of the English Province, the Korean Province and the Zimbabwe Region while attending to the whole congregation.
Lucia Boasă CJ
Born 1973 in Bakău, Romania
I entered the Congregatio Jesu in 1994. Some years before my elder sister had joined the congregation. So I got to know Mary Ward. She is an exceptional woman. Like she did I want to work for women so that they can lead a good life.
Since February 1st I have been appointed General Bursar of the Congregatio Jesu. But I continue to be responsible for the finances of the Romanian Province. My main residence is in Bukarest. I will be in Rome in regular intervals.
Františka Sedláková CJ
Born 1964 in Prešov, Slovakia
I got to know the sisters of the Congregation of Jesus during communist time and joined them in July 1989. I was captivated by the great love and courageousness of Mary Ward.
Since March 2012 I have been working as general secretary. I do my mission with pleasure and I really enjoy it. Through my service for others I look for and I find God, joy and goodness.
I try to do ordinary things with love.
Born 1978 in Rome, Italy
I applied for the position of Assistant to the General Secretary in 2010 when the Generalate was preparing the General Congregation 2011. I was looking for a job that would make it possible for me to balance family and work.
I have been married to Danilo since 2008 and we have two children, Elena (6 years) and Edoardo (2 years). It is not easy to be a mother and a worker at the same time but here in Via Nomentana I’ve found my “Second Family”.
Born 1962 in London, England
I am Italian, and when I was eighteen my family moved from England back to Italy.
I have been married to Antonio since 1984 and we have four children, Vittorio, Laura, Giulio and Marco. Before joining the CJ I have worked for profit making companies.
I joined the CJ in January 2013 when I was appointed as the Finance Administrator. I enjoy the variety and the challenge of the work within such a historic Religious Congregation and I am very happy working with the Generalate and the CJ family worldwide.
